What does it take for you to be able to say, ‘This is my home’?
If you have a longing for a place and feel good there, you can say you feel at home.
Is it possible to have several homelands?
Yes, the desire to go to Switzerland has kept growing stronger within me, especially recently, so I would say that Switzerland and Germany are my home. For that reason, it is most certainly possible to be at home in different places.

What relationship do you have with Switzerland?
I think that I have a very good relationship with Switzerland. I go there often, have family there, don’t live so far away and always spend my skiing holidays there. I also speak Swiss German at home sometimes and we observe many Swiss traditions, which strengthens the relationship even more.
Is everyday life with your family multilingual?
Yes, it is. My mother only speaks Swiss German to me, and I speak it sometimes. My father does his best, although I regret to say he is not the most fluent yet :)
Which events in Switzerland do you follow attentively?
Mainly the skiing. I’m a big Marco Odermatt fan.
I think fondue is…
… better with pears than bread!
