The Organisation of the Swiss Abroad has represented the overall interests of Swiss nationals abroad in Switzerland since 1916, and is recognised by the authorities as the mouthpiece of the “Fifth Switzerland”.

As a Swiss Abroad you may take part in elections and votes in Switzerland. You must, however, satisfy certain criteria, which may differ depending on the canton.

The experiences of Swiss citizens who live abroad are of great importance to Switzerland. Through a variety of offers and events, we encourage social exchanges and networking between citizens of Switzerland at home and abroad.
