The system is designed to ensure that everyone has an equal chance of securing a spot at camp. Registration is therefore not dependent on who clicks the registration button the quickest or which time zone the registration is made from.
Registration and allocation of camp places
The registration window is open from 13 January 2027, 10:00am Swiss time, until 14 January 2027, 10:00am. During this 24-hour period, youth Swiss Abroad can register for one or more of the camps on offer. It is only possible to register for a particular camp once.
Once registration is complete, a confirmation email will be sent for each selected camp. Only after the registration window has closed will a draw determine who is allocated a place. Participants will then be informed which camp they have been allocated a place for, or whether they are on the waiting list.
Anyone selected in the draw for more than one camp will be given the opportunity to choose one of them. This decision must be communicated to the Youth Service within 24 hours. Participation will then be confirmed definitively.
If places are still available after the first allocation, a second registration phase will begin on 14 January 2027 at 2:00 pm. Until 15 January 2027, any remaining places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
