Which song makes you think of home?

"Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears. Something about its sound always brings a feeling of nostalgia and reflection that reminds me of home.

If your friends asked you to make them a typical Swiss meal, what would you cook?

Probably raclette. It’s simple, social, and perfect for sharing with friends while talking for hours.

What language do you dream in?

A mix of languages. Depending on what is happening in my life, it can be Spanish, English, or sometimes even German.

What relationship do you have with Switzerland?

Even though I live abroad, Switzerland remains a central part of my identity, values, and sense of responsibility as a citizen. By joining YPSA, I’ve reconnected with Switzerland in a way I thought I would not be able to ever again.

How do you keep informed about what is happening in Switzerland?

I was recently elected as a board member of YPSA and subsequently elected by the community as a delegate to the Council of the Swiss Abroad (CSA). Through this role I stay closely connected while working to serve and strengthen the global Swiss community.

What role would you like Switzerland to play in the world?

A bridge‑builder. Switzerland can continue to show that stability, democracy, innovation, and neutrality can coexist and contribute positively to the world.

What is your greatest wish at the moment?

I wish I had more hours in the day. There are so many things I want to build, explore, and experience, yet time is finite and must be used wisely.

In 10 years, I want to …

… help strengthen the network of Swiss Abroad, creating opportunities for younger generations to stay connected to Switzerland and to each other.
