Health insurance
If you move to a foreign country, you cannot normally continue with your Swiss health insurance. That means that you must either take out insurance in your new country of residence or – if such insurance is not available – conclude a private health insurance policy.
There are numerous exceptions to this principle, depending on the nature of the stay abroad and on the chosen country of residence.
