Züri Gschnätzlets mit Rösti, Voressen mit Polenta, Öpfelchüechli.
What references to Switzerland do you have in your house?
We display the metal cut outs of the Swiss farm life in the kitchen. I also repurposed the little figurines from my parent's house which hold the shutters in place. Now we hang our Swiss kitchen towels and aprons on it.
What was your impression of Switzerland the last time you visited?
I am privileged to visit Switzerland almost every year with my wife. We truly enjoy seeing the beauty and cultural richness of my home country. Who does not love to ride on a scenic train or gondolas and look at the beautiful mountains and valley? You can’t beat the punctuality of the railways.

Which Swiss customs does your family still observe?
First of August is a yearly tradition in our home with fondue and lampions.
Do you participate in votes in Switzerland? If so, why?
I vote regular online through my canton St. Gallen. It is important to me to stay relevant with current affairs, political and social changes in my home country.
