Our ambassadors
The ambassadors are committed to ensuring that the rights of the Swiss diaspora continue to be made known and put into practice.
Support has steadily decreased over the past few years despite the stable economic situation in Switzerland and all over the world. Today, with the global health crisis, many Swiss nationals abroad are in a precarious situation. The ambassadors are committed to ensuring that the rights of the 788,000 Swiss nationals abroad continue to be made known and put into practice.

I work on behalf of the Swiss nationals living abroad as I still have a strong connection to Switzerland and don’t want to lose my contacts or network of knowledge.Member of the Council of the Swiss Abroad
The extensive and diverse commitment of the OSA must be sustainable, which is why I’m fully committed to making sure our non-profit organisation has a solid foundation for generations to come.Executive Board member of the Organisation of the Swiss Abroad
When I joined the Organisation of the Swiss Abroad more than 10 years ago by becoming a delegate of the Council of the Swiss Abroad, I did so to support the OSA in its endeavour to maintain and support its representation of Swiss nationals living abroad and their rights as full Swiss citizens. It is our task as Swiss nationals living abroad to support our organisation so that it is able to build up and continue the work that it started more than 100 years ago in our name. Give something back – a sign of gratefulness.Member of the Council of the Swiss Abroad
