In addition to the beautiful Lake Zug, the slightly smaller Ägerisee is also waiting to be explored – by boat too in the summer months. Zug offers an attractive variety of activities that ranges from strolling among the shops of Zug’s antique quarter to hiking in the nearby mountains; from cycling through the picturesque villages through to exploring the stunning stalactite caves of the Höllgrotten near Baar. The canton of Zug is centrally located and can easily be explored by public transport. The cities of Zurich and Lucerne can be reached by train in just half an hour. A wide range of sporting and cultural activities as well as various accommodation options offer something special for every budget and taste.
