Leisure offers

The Organisation of the Swiss Abroad offers various opportunities to enjoy Switzerland.

Young Swiss from all over the world enjoy the exciting programmes prepared by the Organisation of the Swiss Abroad (OSA). You too can have an unforgettable holiday or select one of our training schemes in your second homeland. Choose from a whole range of opportunities:sports, languages, training, making friends, travel, parties, etc.

In summer, the OSA offers young Swiss from abroad lasting experiences ranging from spectacular mountain scenery to discovering historic towns and refreshing baths in natural spa water! The OSA provides you with interesting, up-to-date information on Swiss culture, geography,

history, politics and society. So why not take advantage of this unique opportunity to discover your roots!

You can go in for the sports of your choice at our OSA camps. Experienced, qualified instructors will be there for you. At the same time

as the sports activities, you get involved in a typical Swiss topic. During the camps you can work on exciting projects involving films, media, music and artistic creation. You’ll meet lots of young people with interesting backgrounds and form long-lasting trans-frontier friendships.

Subsidies: the youth services has funding to provide need-based support to participants. The application form can be found in the tab "reduction of fees".

Each activity is organised and run by experienced team leaders. They have an efficient kitchen crew at their disposal and several group leaders to back them up. The team looks after the participants from the minute they get up until bedtime. The instructors organise all activities and are also available during periods of individual free time. All the members of these back-up teams take time off during their own holidays to take part in the camps without much financial compensation.
