"E-voting for all"

Organisation of the Swiss Abroad (OSA) petition to the Federal Council

Until today, over 15,300 signatures have already been collected for the OSA petition that was launched on 20 January 2012.

The petition was submitted to the Federal Council Didier Burkhalter on August 18, 2012 at the 90th Congress of the Swiss Abroad in Lausanne by the presence of more than 400 participants.

Nevertheless you can still sign the petition and the new signatures will be handed over to the Federal Chancellery.

The undersigned petitioners call upon the Federal Council, as soon as possible, to introduce an additional option of casting votes electronically (e-voting or e-election) for all voters in Switzerland and abroad.  They urge the competent federal and cantonal authorities to create facilities for all voters abroad to cast their votes securely via the Internet at the federal elections in 2015. 

All persons in Switzerland and abroad are welcome to sign the OSA petition. The OSA will publish the names of the signatories. The data will not be used for any other propose.
