The Canton of Zurich and the citizens of Zurich abroad

Zurich was one of the first cantons of Switzerland to work on a pilot project on electronic voting, from 2003 to 2006. This year, 2010, the electorates of many Zurich municipalities as well as Swiss abroad already have the option of voting electronically (e-voting) in elections and referenda. Zurich now elaborates a report about the pilot project 2008 - 2011 in order to decide about the future strategy.
