Ticino: Economy
The economy of the Canton consists largely of small and medium enterprises. 70% of the working population is employed in the service sector, while 28% works in manufacturing industry and 2% in agriculture. The value of the Canton's exports of goods and services amounts to EUR 3.2 billion per year.
