Basel-Landschaft: Politics

Alex Achermann is the Landschreiber (Head of the Cantonal Administration of Basel-Landschaft). He warmly invites all citizens of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft to play an active part in Swiss political life. The Canton is one of few that permit citizens resident abroad to exercise their voting rights in cantonal and municipal affairs as well as at national level.
